Romeo has represented Croatia in prestigious tournaments like the WDF Europe Cup and the PDC World Cup of Darts, and boasts a silver medal from the EDU European Darts Championship. Transitioning from a past in rugby, he embarked on his international darts career at the Malta Open in 2017. After moving to Germany, he joined the German darts league and has been actively participating in PDC Pro Tour qualifying tournaments since 2020.

In 2022, Romeo competed in the WDF Europe Cup, advancing to the second round in singles and reaching the quarter-finals in the team competition. Despite being eliminated in the group stage of the World Masters later that year, he returned to the PDC Q-School tournament in 2023.
