Born in the peaceful town of Idstein, Germany, on 20 August 1996, Max fell in love with darts at a young age. This passion culminated in his debut on the coveted platform of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2012.

Earning the nickname "The Maximiser" early on, Max swiftly made his presence known on the dartboard with impressive performances. In 2015, he clinched the PDC World Youth Championship title, an achievement that cemented his status as an up-and-coming star in the darting world.
Max's meteoric rise continued when he scored his first major success among the seniors in 2018. He took home the coveted title of the German Darts Open, part of the PDC European Tour. Not only did Max best former world champion Rob Cross and Scotland's Peter Wright en route to the championship, but he also became the first-ever German player to triumph in a PDC European Tour tournament. His victory over reigning world champion Michael Smith in the finals was the icing on the cake.
Over the years, Max has proudly represented Germany at the PDC World Cup of Darts, teaming up with various compatriots. His best performance came in 2017 when he and partner Martin Schindler advanced to the quarter-finals.
