Team Bull's NL on the PDC World Championship 2019
Published on: 13 December 2018
The moment the world of darts has been waiting for all year; it starts tonight! The 26th PDC World Darts Championship is the most important tournament of all, with an all-time high amount of price money. Winning the final on January 1st 2019 will earn you half a million pounds!
Cinderella story Rob Cross managed to claim the World title in his first World Championships last year by defeating Phil Taylor. The Power played his final final, finishing at a grand total of 16 World titles, an accomplishment that the world probably will never witness again.
Fun facts: In this year’s tournament 96 contestants will play, of which 24 newbies (including the best female darts player in the world, Lisa Ashton). In total we have 28 different nationalities at the World’s. The Netherlands send the second biggest party of players to Ally Pally, 13 Dutchmen are present. This number is only beaten by, of, course, England, with 34 players.
Bull’s NL is very happy to announce that for the first time ever, 2 Bull’s NL players will compete in Ally Pally! Martin ‘The Wall’ Schindler will star at opening night (which is tonight!) in the second match of the evening. He will play New-Zealand’s Cody Harris, with his new The Wall 90% Match Darts (check the banner). Max ‘The Maximiser’ Hopp will play his first match on Saturday afternoon in the second round versus the winner of first-round tie between Danny Noppert and Royden Lam. If Max manages to win this game, he will probably face world no1 Michael van Gerwen in the third round. Max’s Match Dart is also shown in our banner. Both player’s darts are available at the Darts Specialist near you.
Bull’s NL wishes Martin and Max the very best of luck at the grandest stage known in Darts, the Alexandra Palace. Viel Erfolg!!
Also, we wish to every dart enthusiast around the world a thrilling and exciting tournament!
