Team Bull's NL at Denmark
Published on: 07 May 2019
Last weekend the Danish Esbjerg was the stage for both the Denmark Open Darts and the Denmark Masters.
In earlier reports we informed you that no less than 109-times Netherlands football international Rafael van der Vaart had registered for these tournaments.
Bull’s NL has provided Rafael and his younger brother Fernando with Dart materials to optimally prepare for this tournament!
Unfortunately, due to a difficult draw, Fernando was unable to win his first round match. Rafael did succeed, but the curtain fell on him in the second round.
Perhaps participating in this tournament will have a more successful follow-up, Bull’s NL will keep an eye out!
Bull’s NL player Justin van Tergouw also appeared at the oche both Saturday and Sunday and can look back on a good weekend despite a little flu!
On Saturday, he lost to the first-placed BDO star Jim Williams. On Sunday he got a chance for revenge and that worked out well!
After beating Henrik Uechter (4-0), Justin played Ben Hazel in a high-quality game.
A decisive leg had to be played in which Justin was victorious with an amazing 13-darter.
Then, after beating the strong player Tony Martin no less than 4-0, he was able to beat Jim Williams.
Unfortunately, in the last 16, the curtain fell in the game versus Dutch Open finalist Ryan Hogarth.
Justin made a strong impression this weekend, and of course, Bull’s NL hopes that he will regain his confidence after an injury.
At least, Justin showed once again that we don’t have to doubt his incredible talent!
